So, to my sister who is struggling…It’s OKAY. Things will get better. Prayer works wonders. In this season, I’ve realized that with many things its going to require a sense of strength, trust and submission only to God. See sometimes we try to control everything in our lives, when God is like Babygirl, stop stressing, stop worrying. That’s not your job. You’re trying to fight a battle that’s not even yours.

Listen, growth is something else. It can happen willingly or forcefully—your choice! For me, it’s been a mix of both. I willingly embraced the idea of growth, but sometimes I wasn’t growing fast enough, and God had to step in and speed things up.
Where do I go from here?
To my sisters, You ever feel like maybe you got the short end of the stick when it came to life? No? Just me? Well, that’s how I felt growing up. I was born into what i like to call the lower end of the money pole. Now, don’t get me wrong my parents loved me and my siblings dearly, it just seemed as though money didn’t love us. The moment we got it, no sooner it was gone! I was never able to enjoy the things in life that i wanted or the luxuries that i felt my friends had.

Hi! I’m Norrie Yavonne, a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and overall TRUE GIRLS' GIRL! I'm a fierce, confident, bold woman of God, a true force to be reckoned with! Ooo, that sounds so good when I say it—it gives me chills! Growing up, I always had a sense of confidence, but I struggled with insecurities and self-esteem due to generational curses that affected me and my decisions in adult life.
