When God Hits Reset: Learning to Embrace the Pause

I didn’t expect it. I was moving, building, dreaming, doing and then, without warning, everything slowed.

Doors that once swung open effortlessly felt sealed shut. My energy shifted. My clarity faded.

And in the middle of it all, God whispered something I wasn’t ready to hear:
“Pause.”

And to be honest Sis?
I didn’t want to.
I had too much to prove. Too many things to finish. Too many people to show up for.

But God wasn’t asking for my performance…He was after my heart.

Sometimes, God doesn’t ask us to keep going.
Sometimes, He asks us to be still, so He can begin again… His way.

💔 The Pain of the Pause

Let’s be real: the pause is painful.

It can feel like loss, especially when we’ve wrapped our identity in our momentum. For me, the silence wasn’t just stillness, it was disorientation. It was learning how to breathe again when the routine that gave me worth suddenly disappeared. It was grieving the version of me that found comfort in control.

I wrestled with God in the quiet:
“Why would You bring me this far, just to stop everything?”
“Why now?”
“When is my breakthrough coming?”
“What do You want me to do in this?”

But the deeper I leaned into the discomfort, the clearer it became:
God wasn’t punishing me.
He was protecting me.
He was pruning me.
He was resetting me.

🌱 When the Stillness Becomes Sacred

You don’t truly know who you are until all the things that kept you busy are stripped away. That’s when the real HER begins to emerge, the woman God has been gently preparing in the background. Healed. Empowered. Renewed.
Not because of the hustle... but because of the holy stillness.

In the pause, I started to see myself again, not through the lens of exhaustion or endless doing, but through the eyes of the One who created me. The One who loved me when I was quiet. Who loved me even when I wasn’t producing anything.

There’s a sacred work happening in the reset. God is restoring things that got lost in the noise. He’s realigning your path with His purpose.

And that takes time…And most importantly, it takes trust.

✨ The Invitation of the Reset

Sis, if you feel like your life is on pause… it’s okay to grieve that. But don’t forget to look for the invitation inside the interruption!

God is not just stopping something, He’s starting something new.

This isn’t the end of your momentum. It’s the beginning of a deeper, more rooted you.

Take this pause personally. Spiritually. Seriously. Ask God what He’s trying to show you, then trust Him enough to let go of what you thought your life should look like.

Please understand this, Sis...
You’re not falling behind.
You’re not forgotten.
You’re being refined and realigned.

🕊️ A Gentle Reminder for HER:

You are not stuck.
You are not lost.
You are not being punished.

You are being reset by a God who sees the full picture.
He’s molding your heart and preparing you for something that doesn’t require performance…just your presence.

So Sis… just breathe.
Lean in, And allow this sacred pause to birth the version of you that’s been waiting to emerge.
